  1. @Jim M Thanks for the fast response. Yes, I know how to change word filters but how do I control whether I receive an email (as the moderator/admin) when something needs to be moderated?
  2. Hello -- I'd like to turn off the notification that there is a blog post that needs moderation due to violating a word filter but I can't seem to find where I do this? Can you help? Thanks! Eric
  3. @DawPi Tried your suggestion. No email came through. I'm still getting notifications from the site when a blog post needs moderation so that's good. I didn't make any changes when this problem started so I'm speculating that it is an Invision issue somewhere. Eric
  4. Hello -- For the last hour, no new account created (about 20) has confirmed their email with with the registration validation email. I think this is because they did not receive it since I created a new test account and didn't get it (it's not in my spam). Can you please look into this for me? Thanks! Eric
  5. Hi @Marc -- I'm just trying to figure out how a user in good standing tried scheduling a post and got this message. Was your team able to recreate it?
  6. @Jim M Jim -- This is the screenshot they sent me of what they experienced. Could this be because somehow the site was trying to redirect them somewhere weird? What happens when someone schedules a post and it has a word that pushes it into the moderation queue?
  7. @Marc Mark, I had a user run into this again. It results several times for him when he tried to schedule a blog post. But he could post the same post immediately without problem. Does that help you investigate it?
  8. It would be an amazing feature if ban settings treated all email addresses as if the piece before the "@" sign was the same with periods removed when checking whether an email address can be registered. Moving periods around in gmail email addresses is massively abused by scammers -- I probably see 100+ registrations per day with this issue that I need to delete. Basically it would mean that adding "I.am.a.scammer@gmail.com" to the ban settings would also block Iama.scam.er@gmail.com. Any chance of getting this into a future edition? Eric
  9. I would love this feature as well.
  10. Hi Jim -- I'm not banning IP addresses at all. Supposedly they saw it right after logging in. But today they were able to log in just fine. Eric
  11. I have a number of regular users of my site getting a "you are banned" message. I didn't ban them individually. Is there any other reason they might see this message? I've been playing with my "ban settings" under member settings a bit to try and stop spammers. But that should only affect new members trying to register, yes? Or could it affect existing members? Eric
  12. Is there a good way to deal with spammers moving the periods around in a single gmail email address to register lots of accounts with the same gmail address?
  13. I'm getting this attached error message in my Invision Cloud account. What should I do? Thanks for your help!
  14. Is there a good way to deal with spammers moving the periods around in a single gmail email address to register lots of accounts with the same gmail address?
  15. Does # of views on a blog post ever reset? Or does it just count up and up forever? Thanks! Eric
