@Matt @Marc Huge portion of issues are coming form missing Ipsfocus themes and ignore topics add-on so I will skip those and other already fixed in 5.0.4 and 5.0.5. Please also consider that this community is mostly 40+ (with many 60+) people and they have average IT skills. We use only Forums module. Missing mark forum as read link (already in Feedback or V5 Bugs) Adding new spoiler is hard even with workaround (already in Feedback or V5 Bugs) Click on date in stream does not lead to last post (already in Feedback or V5 Bugs) No reactions in my activity (already in Feedback or V5 Bugs) For many users editor on mobile randomly does not load or is in infinite loop (without any pattern, different browsers, countries) When you type in editor it moves upwards with every letter (different mobile browsers on both android and ios) and you can not scroll page Smiley conversion does not work ( :) should be autoconverted to 😀) Wrap in quote, Subcript, superscript and strikthrough not always visible Missing "clear previous content" button If mobile screen is on 120% or 140% it is impossible to use editor (see attachment) Embedded videos are too large especially verticals from youtube Unread content button after some time does not work on mobile (if you click on it, click actually goes to underlaying link) Posting restrictions are removed without deprecation notice Missing breadcumbs for navigation on bottom ( maybe this was part of ipsfocus theme) In general mobile view is not condensed and a lot of white space (as I said this is coming even from older users) Bug with clicking on next page in topic and staying on same with same content is still there (phantom pages)

@Marc This is workaround but it is offering very limited experience. Currently if there are new forums they will be ignored in stream. It would be much better if we can filter on topic level and OPT OUT for certain froums/topics but there is already feedback for this feature.

@Marc Thank you very much for this. I suspected something like this must exist but I did not manage to find. (as well couple 1000 other people who complained to me) Most people were using Ignore topics add-on. In general V5 for my workflow is working more or less fine but I am mostly on Desktop and do not post a lot in my community. I think after 5.0.5 will be even better. 😊

After the quite poor reception of V5 in my community (many common actions have regressed and become more complicated), I hope it’s possible to start implementing the long-awaited core forum features. We need a feature where users can choose which subforums—or even better, which specific topics—are included in their activity streams. The idea is that when a user visits the homepage and clicks on "Unread Content," they only see their personally filtered content. It doesn’t actually matter whether the selection is inclusive (choosing what to include) or exclusive (ignoring unwanted content). This is the number one most-requested feature in my community because, for example, users who follow F1, basketball and movies don’t want content from music, politics or whiskey forums.

They are not working for me as well neither custom neither built in.

Custom icons are in Emojis tab on bottom.

After upgrade to PHP 8.3 it started to work in my case. Maybe you are on PHP 8.1 or 8.2.

Moderators should only see reports in the forums they moderate.

@abetts You need to enable Pages module.

After upgrade to V5 this was by the far most missing requested feature. (second is ipsfocus theme) I even got money bounty to downgrade to v4. It would be really amazing if an altnerative API can be provided for @Adriano Faria or similiar feature provided as core part of forums.

@Matt Any chance to get this working in mobile version? (Visibility is correctly set for the block in footer)

Not really. 😞 What I know: 1.) mentions and quotes quite randomly for different users are not in the list of notifications 2.) I tried with 2,3 test users and did not have issues Only culprit for me are installed Ubuntu updates couple days ago. 🤨 Unfortunately I do not know which part of technology stack is used for that feature.

We have same issue in our community as well. More and more users are noticing missing inline notifications. It is self hosted version with redis.
