Please contact technical support for more information. also to reiterate, this worked perfectly fine before updating the forum and PHP. I haven't got any plugins installed and this is using an uncustomized default theme. other than upgrading the php version, nothing has changed on my server.

Upgraded to the latest version (v4.7.4 + PHP 8.1) and can no longer embed external images from their url. everything else seems to embed okay. no 3rd party plugins and using the default theme. pasting the image in directly works, but it errors when pasting the image url.

disabled CloudFlare and still wouldn't work.

nope not enabled. just to reiterate, it had been working absolutely fine before the upgrade. and nothing has changed in terms of the server setup. all other embeds are coming through fine too.

added the account to admin group now.

The link could not be embedded because there is no tweet at that URL. Since upgrading to the latest version, we've been getting this error whilst trying to embed any tweet.

I'm having user complaints about the same issue. Sessions via Redis and it's happening on various devices/browsers without any cookie blocking scripts etc. I'll report back in here if I find anything.

+1 for nested quotes. They're a big miss after moving from SMF.

So I took an initial dump of our existing forum a few weeks ago. I've been working with that locally, to get everything set up and ready, before I plan to turn the existing forum offline, dump and run a final conversion. I'm simply looking to minimise downtime and if there was a way to add any new users, threads, posts etc since that initial dump, that would speed up the process massively and reduce the time spent offline. I wasn't sure it was something that warranted opening a ticket, but I will do that now.
