  2. Still can't log into the forum or ACP from my normal browser though, only through 'incognito mode' Ice made sure I'm on the latest version of browser, cleared cache/data/cookies/history closed browser and restarted it.
  3. That worked. Ironically, my browsers set to clear cookies, history etc etc when closed. I had the problems when I first switched on the pc this morning though, so bit of a mystery there. Now I can get into ACP, there's no errors in the log. There's a few 'uncaught exceptions' errors from a few days ago with a bulk email I sent, but nothing after 6 Feb.
  4. Hi, No changes that I'm aware of. Its a cloud account, and I can't access ACP to see the error logs. Ive found a similar report Given the last comment by Marc, i think it may be related to my issue. There also seems to be an intermittent problem, as I've been able to log in via my phone twice since I first reported in here. It did go back to 'Error 403 for the forum' after I'd logged out though. Still no joy on a PC for the forum or ACP.
  5. Woke up this morning to find I can't log into either our forum , or ACP. Error 403 for the forum - It appears you don't have permission to access this page. 403 Error. Forbidden. Error 404 for ACP - Sorry, this page doesn't exist. Please check the URL or go back a page. As I can't log into ACP, I cant do anything to rectify the issue. Thanks harry
  6. Are all his browsers up to date ? Have you told him to delete cookies and wait 5 minutes before trying to log in again ? Also, is he using the ‘remember me’ check box ? tell him to log in without using it.

  11. Hi Marc, Thank you. I sorted it out, but gave myself another problem I found a theme called 'Restricted Rides' in a drop down box in ACP > Community > Forums> [selected The forum I wanted to change] > Forum Settings - Override theme which did what I wanted. The problem I now have, is that I can't find that actual theme in ACP > Customization > Themes - So I can edit it, or copy it to make another version. Would it be somewhere else instead ? Thanks harry m
  12. Newbie question , Can someone remind me where in ACP the setting for changing an individual forums background colour setting is? I have some forums for a 'group' set to a yellow background and want to add more forums to it which are currently a white background. I know it was a simple setting in ACP as I'm a cloud based account. Thanks harry m

  20. Hi, Whilst trying to add a note to a forum, I've accidentally deleted it! Is it possible to recover it, as its a historical record with over 20 years of entries. I have searched this forum, and the last time someone did the same you referred it to a ticket. https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/topic/471731-cloud-accidentally-deleted-a-forum-–-can-you-restore-it /#comment-2923592 Thanks harry

  22. Although its not the overall solution to the original topic, I think I've found the issue why my mobile phone wouldn't connect. Its a Samsung that hadn't been re-booted for 5 days. Ive had similar issues with other 'apps' in the past and never gave it a thought it could be that with a web site. Re-booted and got straight in to our forum.

  27. An update to the problems. On Saturday at 2pm UK time, I used a secondary account and logged in successfully and had no issues. I then logged in to A-CP , made the secondary account an Admin and logged out and back in as the secondary account name. (up until then , as my original user account , when i chose messages or notifications from the profile drop down menu, all i saw was the 'loading' circle rotating for several minutes and nothing else). Went into A-CP as the secondary account name, and under Member profile> Account actions, signed in as harry m ( original user name). I had no issue at all whilst in there, I tested all the features that I'd had issues with as harry m, and everything worked fine ! I signed out as harry m, then signed out of A-CP under my 2nd user name. Went back to log into the forum as harry m, and have had no issues what so ever all weekend. i don't know if one of your Techs has done anything, or if its pure timing that 2pm UK time would of been 8am ( ish) US time, or its mysteriously resolved itself ? I was also able to log in on a mobile phone whilst still logged in on a computer at the same time. Obviously if it starts again, ill come back to you. regards harry m
