This is where I am trying to figure out. Let's take an example. I change image quality to 80% from 85%. Thtat's 5% reduction in quality but I don't know how much would be reduction in size? Ex: 5% or 10% or 30% size will be reduced? Is Quality vs Image size 1:1 or exponential? If you can help around that it would be great. Basically to save 5% space, I don't want to bother with setting. But If I can save like 30% space with just loosing 5% quality which are pre-dominant screenshots, sure, I might go for it.

Thanks. I somehow thought this images are from image proxy services i.e. we don't need to make a call to 3rd party sites and load directly from server. It seems like i can't purge this data. Time to add more disk space. One last Q: how much image quality difference going from 85 to 80?

Somehow my imageproxy folder is 12GB. What's stored in this folder i.e just jpg's? Anyway, I can trim it without impacting content? Thanks

I think you are right.. i try to add app and i get drop down but can't select a thing. Now drop down doesn't list anything and cant proceed further.

Is it possible to show case search results with similar file names? For Ex: Filename ABC is already available and if someone tries to upload same one, it's not value add. Users able to see similar file name during submission will make moderators life easy.

I am using Radical tags as well - just couldn't find that topic. Normally, I will search through market place but realized its gone, so shared through Google search. 🙂 So are we saying anyone using Radical tags - its straight forward migration? OR I hope Radical tag continues because it has nice options to define color code of prefixes, which is very useful.

Is their any central place where all developers are coming together to publish their addons? I remember many eon's back during vB days.. they used to have some modding community or at least some forum existed. With new IPS structure, it's annoying as hell from user perspective, going to 10 forums! I am also worried, that addon developers will not get new customers.. and they will move to different forums who support modding. But again, I am here not to debate on decision which has been made. Just looking for alternative solution if available. Thanks

I ban all data center IP's which proxy spammers use through CF - firewall. Reduces 95% of spammers. Now we just deal with human spammers (from ASIA). No systematic way to block them really because this are just humans doing advertising. Opens up username and it auto removes spam post from hidden view. Sorry, in 'Search bar' - their is no option to only filter for spammers. Can you share the screenshot on where can I filter 'only' spammers.

I can't remember.... what was the option to mass delete spammers?

Is their an option to control prefixes? I am sorry but having 100 prefixes and wrong prefix especially, is not value added. My strategy is always open ended tags but controlled prefixes. So current changes on tag is welcome addition. Also as someone mentioned in topic: Thoughts on bulk maintaince and color code for each prefix? Will you be supporting Ryan's tagging system? @Michael_ -- I would suggest: @teraßyte @Adriano Faria @DawPi @Martin A. - This folks have provided consistent support to all their user bases so far and i am sure their are other developers as well. You don't want to be in a situation where you have plugin for V4 series and no upgrade path for V5. One of the reasons, I personally avoid custom addons and requesting for native features for key items like this. However, I still use addons from above developers and few others. I have bunch of broken topics because of missing images. So we normally suggest our users to use Gallery or Downloads depending on their file size/type vs 3rd party.

@Randy Calvert Using 5.7 but good note for MySQL 8.x. @Jim M -> No issues their. Using InnoDB since a while. MySQL 8.x or MariaDB - thinking which route to go.. but as per Google, i see don't see ground breaking benefits vs folks are reporting higher memory/CPU usage. So need to give that a try. My general question is: This queries are coming from which URL, app, etc. ? Those are like full table scan queries. Can we do something about it? I don't want to switch to elasticsearch because something is not working as expected OR we can enhance underlying app to provide better performing queries. For ElasticSearch I had read this post and kinda avoided it.
