No, these appear to be gone, at least that's what seems to have been reported. From the home page, I want to be able to click the forums I don't want to read, and have them marked as read.

How do I create a bulleted or ordered list in v5? It seems typing a dash will create a bulleted list, but I don't see it in the menu any longer. Also, it appears I can type a 1. then a space and it will create an ordered list, but also not in the menu. At least for the bulleted lists, I have a lot of computer-challenged users that will not know how to do that. Are these options we can add in the editor?

It seems I can no longer simply type :) and have it convert to a smile. This behavior seems to be universal everywhere, FB, Word, text apps, email... Also, if I click on the smiley list, it takes a lot longer than before to load. Will the :) functionality be added back? Thanks

Ugh, that's not convenient. Is there a way to get the old functionality back? My use case: Visit site Determine which forums I don't want to read Mark those as read from the home page Click Unread Content Now I need to open each forum I don't want to read, mark it as read, then do the rest.

Thank you both. It's a lot easier to stay where I am than move to a Windows server. I have several other programs running on this VPS.

I am currently running MariaDB on a Linux server. In this post, @Marc commented that MySQL is what IPS supports. https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/topic/481462-maria-db-for-ic-5/#findComment-2989786 I contacted my host, and they said I could remove MariaDB, and import my data into MySQL; however, they felt that MariaDB performed better than MySQL in a Linus environment. They also suggested MySQL would be better in a Windows environment. Am I better off staying with MariaDB on Linux, or moving to MySQL on Windows? I am not a server guy, just someone who runs a few forums. Thanks

Please return "Mark site read" to the bottom of the site next to "Unread content". When I view the site (mine or here), I start at the top, scroll to the bottom, load more activity (if there is any), right click (Windows) on the topics I want to read and say open in new tab, then click "Mark site read". Now I need to scroll back to the top, click my name, find in a list "Mark all content read", click that. Also, the page used to refresh to show all topics are now read - now it is almost imperceptible that anything happened. Thanks

Please return the star icon for threads I have posted in. My browser favorites are set view Unread Content. I usually look for the star next to a post to see if I posted there. Unless I am missing a setting, I no longer see that.

Phew, thanks! Hmm, upon further investigation, it looks like it's from an add-on which I don't think has been supported for a while. PHP & TXT Widget Can I do the same with a custom block in Pages? If so, I should start migrating things now.

When viewing Unread Content, it’s not easy to see what threads I posted in. There used to be a star instead of a round icon. The star is super helpful to me when I want to respond to a thread I previously posted in. Also, there is no way to see who made the original post. Thanks
