This is the response from my Provider. SiteGround Check Thank you for contacting our Help Desk! I checked the server logs and I can confirm that the cron command is being executed every 30 minutes. Here are the server logs that confirm that: 2024-04-03 19:30:01.000827 CMD: u1169-mijchxsppju3 /usr/local/php80/bin/php -d memory_limit=-1 -d max_execution_time=0 /home/customer/www/home2000.com/public_html/applications/core/interface/task/task.php 29eb6f039e43b68b4ae33156cb778ac2 2024-04-03 20:00:01.000751 CMD: u1169-mijchxsppju3 /usr/local/php80/bin/php -d memory_limit=-1 -d max_execution_time=0 /home/customer/www/home2000.com/public_html/applications/core/interface/task/task.php 29eb6f039e43b68b4ae33156cb778ac2 2024-04-03 20:30:01.000841 CMD: u1169-mijchxsppju3 /usr/local/php80/bin/php -d memory_limit=-1 -d max_execution_time=0 /home/customer/www/home2000.com/public_html/applications/core/interface/task/task.php 29eb6f039e43b68b4ae33156cb778ac2 2024-04-03 21:00:01.000328 CMD: u1169-mijchxsppju3 /usr/local/php80/bin/php -d memory_limit=-1 -d max_execution_time=0 /home/customer/www/home2000.com/public_html/applications/core/interface/task/task.php 29eb6f039e43b68b4ae33156cb778ac2 2024-04-03 21:30:01.000456 CMD: u1169-mijchxsppju3 /usr/local/php80/bin/php -d memory_limit=-1 -d max_execution_time=0 /home/customer/www/home2000.com/public_html/applications/core/interface/task/task.php 29eb6f039e43b68b4ae33156cb778ac2 2024-04-03 22:00:01.000134 CMD: u1169-mijchxsppju3 /usr/local/php80/bin/php -d memory_limit=-1 -d max_execution_time=0 /home/customer/www/home2000.com/public_html/applications/core/interface/task/task.php 29eb6f039e43b68b4ae33156cb778ac2 2024-04-03 22:30:01.000683 CMD: u1169-mijchxsppju3 /usr/local/php80/bin/php -d memory_limit=-1 -d max_execution_time=0 /home/customer/www/home2000.com/public_html/applications/core/interface/task/task.php 29eb6f039e43b68b4ae33156cb778ac support@gvam1233.siteground.biz:~$ date Wed Apr 3 22:35:50 UTC 2024 I then executed the command via SSH and this is the output: baseos | home2000.com | u1169-mijchxsppju3@gvam1233.siteground.biz:~/www/home2000.com/public_html$ /usr/local/php80/bin/php -d memory_limit=-1 -d max_execution_time=0 /home/customer/www/home2000.com/public_html/applications/core/interface/task/task.php 29eb6f039e43b68b4ae33156cb778ac2 Cache-Control: no-cache, no-store, must-revalidate, max-age=0, s-maxage=0 Expires: 0 Content-type: text/html; charset=UTF-8 Not at command line If this is not the expected result, consult with your developer and see whether the cron command needs to be adjusted. Down for 6+ Months
I created a cron per the error message I got from Invision. My provider, SiteGround, says it is running, cron. Invistion says it is not. This is the error: You should set the cron to run the following command every minute: /usr/local/php80/bin/php -d memory_limit=-1 -d max_execution_time=0 /home/customer/www/mySite/public_html/applications/core/interface/task/task.php 29eb6f039e43b68b4ae33156cb778ac2 I created the cron many months ago, second or third time. SiteGround says the cron is running. I would like to start running the site. I have had it for many years and still, I'm at the cron stage. What to do. Bob /usr/local/php80/bin/php -d memory_limit=-1 -d max_execution_time=0 /home/customer/www/home2000.com/public_html/applications/core/interface/task/task.php 29eb6f039e43b68b4ae33156cb778ac2tomer/www/home2000.com/public_html/applications/core/interface/task/task.php 29eb6f039e43b68b4ae33156cb778ac2

Log on with either URL's Amerifax or home2000 to same single Invision website.
I have 3 top Menu selections on my www.home2000 website, home2000 Amerifax, and Wisconsin. I would like them to each have a separate forum and gallery plus there unique menu (Amerifax & home2000. Is that possible, and if yes how? Or is there a way to have a menu that can group as if separate entities? I hope that makes sense. Bob
-
Log on with 2 different URL's
I have one home2000.com, Invision Forum. I hope that if the user uses home2000.com and has a suitable membership, the menu system will display a menu system that is unique to this membership. If the uses a different URL, amerifax@com, the menu system would be different. www.home2000.com - The menu display would be something like this. home2000 Forum Gallery Browser amerifax@gmail.com - The menu display would be something like this. Amerifax Forum Gallery Browser Events Bob Snow www.home2000.com

Control of homepage menu system
I need a better understanding of how the menu system works. 1. I have 2 URLs to access my home2000.com site. home2000.com - Its home page should have its own look (describing its function) and menu system. amerifax.com - Its home page should have its own look (describing its function) and menu system. 2. How do the menus work. As I see it the top menu calls the Second layer of menus. Top Menu: home2000 Amerifax Wisconsin Bob Browse Activity Called Memu: Clubs Forums Blogs Events Articles Downloads Gallery Staff OtherUsers Leaderboard. As I See it "home2000" calls and shows Called menu. How to set up a menu to display only what I need, eliminate from display leaderboard Stadd ECT. Have the selected item go to te selection. Am I going to the item page selected or moving it to the home page? If I have a choice what would be the best way to do it? Bob home2000.com home2000 Everywhere

My Main Menu, level one, is home2000, Amerifax, Wisconsin, Bob, Browser The browser has a second level with Clubs, Forums, Blogs, etc. I want my first level to have its own Clubs, Forums, etc. How can I add them to my first level and with their own data? Create Cron
I no longer see the "Error Notifications" message in my Admin CP. It's been some time since I addressed this issue. The issue was I don't have enough users on the site. I was advised to correct the issue by doing the following. The Cron file seems to be the only remaining issue. The site tech, location of my home2000.com, helped me with this. The Cron file could not be created, see following notes (Item 1). 1. According to the documentation, the following command should be set as a Cron Job: php80 /home/u1169-mijchxsppju3/www/home2000.com/public_html/applications/core/interface/task/task.php However, when I executed it manually, it failed with the following error: baseos | u1169-mijchxsppju3@us57.siteground.us:~/www/home2000.com/public_html$ php80 /home/u1169-mijchxsppju3/www/home2000.com/public_html/applications/core/interface/task/task.php Incorrect key 2. Also these changes where made. Two of the warnings concern the PHP environment: Dangerous PHP Functions Enabled Public Display of PHP Errors Enabled I created a php.ini file in www/home2000.com/public_html and added the following rules to the file: display_errors = Off disable_functions = exec,passthru,shell_exec,system,proc_open,popen,pcntl_exec Is this satisfactory, Item 2, for avoiding displaying 2 PHP warnings? Administrator Notifications-Protect site
> I would work with your host to see if they can run the recommended cron job. << Isn't cron turned on in my settings? My site has been fixed. They did come back, my provided, and get it. I will contact them about cron. My Admin Notifications mention turning something off until mourning. Is that still important since it is kind of mourning and also no real activity? Thanks again for the response. Bob

Administrator Notifications-Protect site
I have received the following errors on my 2-week-old partially installed website. The more I read the more confused I get, all on me. Is there any video out there in regard to this? Invision has good info on the subject, I am just drawing a blank. I'm using the most recent Invision Community, Self-Hosting. I should be using the Invision Cloud, then no issues. Here are the issues that I was told it would be smart to fix on my site: Administrator Notifications Maintenance Tasks Not Running Dangerous PHP Functions Enabled Public Display of PHP Errors Enabled Also, Maintenance Tasks Not Running. I think I have a handle on that one. I have talked to my host provider, which has been very helpful in regard to my issues. But every time I talk about this issue I just confuse them more, all on me. And it helps no one in the fact, I don't know any code. At ALL. If there is no Video out there then when I learn I'll create. That's my area of technique, not programming. Bob

What to use for email?
What to use for email? SiteGround, my hosting account, offers something called Webmail. Envision Community has a lot to consider under System-Email Settings. Do I need both of these. Or if there is only one that I need which one is my best advantage? Some of my friends will use my email, friend@ome2000.com, as they would currently use a Gmail account. friend@gmail.com. I would receive emails from users of my forum addressed to me as support@ome2000.com. I also would use me@home2000.com the same way I would use Gmail. So based on this maybe you could help me decide which is the best way to go. I also might want m emails to go to m Gmail account, chrome, possibly. As I understand it the SiteGround-Webmail might have similar functions as Gmail? Bob

Check Program?
I thought it be best to let all that supported me here know I'm up and running. What took me a week should have been an hour. My biggest problem was me. Thanks for all the help. Bob

Check Program?
Jim, I have gained a tremendous deal of needed knowledge in regard to this process. I am very thankful for the time you took to bring me to the point I'm at. I have no further questions. You have covered it 100%. Actually, that's not entirely true. I had a black bar that came across the lower part of my monitor in regards to this message asking me if I wanted to see this message. I have never had that before. Is it by chance a function within the InVision community, on your end? It is controlled by something I might have done. I love the feature. I just don't know what initiated it. But fortunately, I'm now aware of it. Bob

Check Program?
Now I Got it. But what makes it execute? What is the error code telling me? [16-Feb-2023 02:40:33 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class 'IPS\Dispatcher' not found in /home/customer/www/home2000.com/public_html/init.php:1026 Stack trace: #0 [internal function]: IPS\IPS::exceptionHandler(Object(Error)) #1 {main} thrown in /home/customer/www/home2000.com/public_html/init.php on line 1026 Bob

Check Program?
So then If I put the ips4.php file into the public_html folder it runs somehow automatically and creates the file php_errorlog file. If all is OK will I still find the php_errorlog file? Will it be blank or have a message similar to Good to go? Bob
-
Check Program?
I did go into Public_html and found php_errorlog. I did a right-click and found this code: [16-Feb-2023 02:40:33 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class 'IPS\Dispatcher' not found in /home/customer/www/home2000.com/public_html/init.php:1026 Stack trace: #0 [internal function]: IPS\IPS::exceptionHandler(Object(Error)) #1 {main} thrown in /home/customer/www/home2000.com/public_html/init.php on line 1026 Did the ips4.php file create this php_errorlog file, somehow running automatically in the background? Sorry for all the trouble, but I'm at a loss, as usual. Bob PS Does it matter if the ips_51de8 files are in the public_html folder or not?
-
Check Program?
Thanks for the replay. I uploaded the IPS4.php file to the public_html folder, which also holds the files and folders from the ips_51de8 file. I don't know how to execute it and how to see the resulting facts. Bob
-
Check Program?
I can't find the program for checking when installing a new ISP_51de8. Also, the instructions are a bit vag. Do I need to set up a database, or is it done within the program? Here is what I have done so far I have Installed PHP 8.2.3. It does have MSQL not sure of the version. My host is SiteGround, self-host. I moved the files from the ISP_51de8 folder into the folder public_html. I then get an error when logging into www.home2000.com, 404. Is there anything I have to edit in any files? Do I need to create database files? Lastly, I would like to have the check file and knowledge on using it. The documentation in the manual was a bit confusing to me. Bob
