Is there a way with Invision Community 5 to have a page using the pages app that I can have all my custom fields for a staff application but not use the database feature. It seems to allow others to see other applications. I just want a page for people to apply for staff that when submitted will post into a private forum that only allows them to see there own post but also allows staff to look it over and change the status of it.

A forum can be set up so only you and the poster can see their posts.

You will want to adjust the settings for your Database so that either your users do not have the ability to read/view the record or disable the database setting for "Users can see records posted by other users?"

Could you please elaborate where you're receiving that? Is that in the ACP? If so, please ensure that your account is not limited.

I go to view page from the ACP and it says oops you don’t have permission to view this page. I’m sure it’s something I’m doing wrong. I just haven’t used invision community in a long time and I just upgraded to v5.

As mentioned above, is the admin account that it's getting that permission error limited, permission wise?
