Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted April 4Apr 4 Is there a way with Invision Community 5 to have a page using the pages app that I can have all my custom fields for a staff application but not use the database feature. It seems to allow others to see other applications. I just want a page for people to apply for staff that when submitted will post into a private forum that only allows them to see there own post but also allows staff to look it over and change the status of it. April 4Apr 4 A forum can be set up so only you and the poster can see their posts.Or there is this: https://www.sosinvision.com.br/index.php?/file/444-staff-applications-system/
April 4Apr 4 Community Expert You will want to adjust the settings for your Database so that either your users do not have the ability to read/view the record or disable the database setting for "Users can see records posted by other users?"
April 5Apr 5 Author Try that but says I don’t have permission. I’m not sure how the databases work yet.
