I'm having a problem. When a member tries to register, they receive this error message.

 

"You are not authorized to use this email address on this site."

I have to create the account manually.

Check the logs in the ACP for Spam Defense. If the user had a bad reputation score and your settings are set to block those, this could explain what is going on.

I had a similar problem, on the 4th rule change to allow the member to register and then change it back.

Part of the problem as I did understand it, the internet provider change his IPv4 in IPv6 and something there it didnt like.

In the case of this one, you need to check the disallowed emails you have set up in your admin CP.
