Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted March 10Mar 10 I am trying to get my forums back up and running, as I have neglected them for a while. I can login to the forums fine, but when I try to login to the admin cp, I get the following error:A configuration or server error has occurredEX1032 Something went wrong. Please try again. I should probably add that the license had expired and I renewed it today.
March 10Mar 10 Community Expert Can you check the server error log page and see if there is any message logged in there recently pertaining this?
March 10Mar 10 Author Where do I check the server error log page? If it's in the admin control panel, I can't get to it.
March 10Mar 10 Community Expert We would need to look further into this for you, however the access details on file appear to be incorrect or missing. Could you please update these details by visiting your client area, selecting the relevant purchase, then clicking "Review/Update Access Information" under the "Stored Access Information" section. We look forward to further assisting you.
March 10Mar 10 Author Would it be possible to do an install of v5 and import everything from the v4 version? I'm wondering if that would be easier than troubleshooting the current problem.

If I were you I would take up @Jim M on his offer. Make sure to provide the access details as asked and the Ips Team will help you further with this.

I will have to talk to tech support for my host.I think one of the issues is that it's still showing the license as expired and I can't login to the admin panel to refresh the license info.
March 10Mar 10 Author I cleared the datastore and the license now shows as active, but still getting that error trying to access the admin panel. I tried following the documentation to enable recovery mode, but that didn't work. Still working with my host's tech support to get an ftp account available for invision tech.
March 11Mar 11 Author Nevermind. I figured it out. I had updated the site to PHP 8.2. I tried reverting back to PHP 8.0 and was able to login and upgrade.
March 11Mar 11 Community Expert Glad to hear you sorted the problem. PHP 8.1 would be the latest supported release on v4
