Recently I've started making new threads and even after updating the old ones, I haven't been able to get the boards on the "home" forum page to show the most recently updated one EVEN THOUGH that option is checked in the settings page. For fun, I tried to check a completely different option but it still didn't change. So my question is: What do I need to do to get the recently updated threads to show on the "home" screen board?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, I just can't seem to figure it out. Thanks in advance!

We would need to know where you are referring to. Are you looking to have it look like our home page here? Are you referring to the block on the right? (they are cached so are not instant update)

I have taken some pictures to show what I mean.

First, I am referring to the topic shown (for example) here, so the topic that's "on top" of the board when you look at the "home" screen.

Secondly, you can see here that I've updated another thread 6 hours ago and it is shown on top in the forum board but not on the home screen, I hope this helps you to understand what I mean.

@Marc Should I make a support ticket for this? Or would that be inappropriate? I'm not sure which way to best go about this.

Ive assigned developers to advise first of all, in case this is something as simple as that area being cached. If we need a ticket, we can create one from here

We are unable to provide specific points in which items will be resolved, unfortunately. I can only say it will be resolved in a future maintenance release

Im a little confused by your response there. As I mentioned in my message above, we cant say exactly which release it will be in, and also mentioned it was currently an open bug report

Actually, having just taken a look at this, it should actually be resolved in the latest beta version. Could I confirm you are on the latest beta?

Oh wow, that would be amazing. How do I check? I'm sorry, I'm completely new to your software and I've only had it for like a month so I'm not super familiar yet. I saw an update like an hour ago and updated to Invision Community v5.0.4. Is this the latest? Or am I missing a beta option somewhere?

And on the home site you can see that it still says Miscarriages on top in the board. I posted on "Meditation Phrases" to make sure it registers a new post in an older subject. I cleared my cache and tried it on Google Chrome as well as Firefox and Opera and it gives the same result on all.

Does it show Meditation Phrases at the top in the "home" screen for you? Or just on top of the list in the forum itself? Cause it's on top of the forum but not on top in the general view of all boards if you know what I mean.

To rebuild the Search Index go to the Search Tab in your Admin Panel and click the link on the right top corner that says: Rebuild Search Index. To clear the cache go to the Support tab in your Admin Panel and click on the link that says: Clear System Cache under the Tools & Diagnostics block. Hope it helps.
