Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted February 24Feb 24 Hello, i need a help about that function. I want to use Wordpress to be my News System. I tried with Blogs (https://ggames.com.br/blogs) and Pages (https://ggames.com.br/noticias/) , but with this new release i will not be able to add feature image from RSS automactily (i have a very expensive addon only for that, the rss come from a WP installed on a hidden folder). Nobody integration IPS with any AI and i want to setup a news system with GPT. I have two idea.1. Install the WP inside /noticias and make this page as HOME, without move my forum to a sub page. 2. Install the WP inside public_html and set the ggames.com.br as home, and move the forum home to /forum, and keep the other pages like they are now.And my last question, its possible to show my last topics from forum on a external page?
February 24Feb 24 Community Expert You can show blocks on external pages, yes. Take a look herehttps://invisioncommunity.com/4guides/pages/tips-tricks_361/using-blocks-externally-r271/I would not advise trying to install the site in the same folder as wordpress. That is very likely (most certainly) going to end badly

February 25Feb 25 Community Expert And if i install inside a folder? What do you mean by "a folder"? A separate folder? As mentioned above, the best way is to install it using an apart folder/directory.
February 25Feb 25 Community Expert And if i install inside a folder?I would then not be in the same directory, so that would be fine
