Uploaded image has wrong rotation

Hi, I want to solve a long term problem in our forum. We have problem with uploaded images, that are rotated only by the exif information. By uploading the image, forum sotware does not read the exif informartion to rotate them and the rotation is wrong.

You would need to ensure you have the EXIF PHP extension loaded. Also please test these on our test forum to ensure its not the images.

We are running the same invision version as the user there. The only difference is the environment there

@Marc If I upload this image to the testing forum here it is normal rotation 

 

If I post it on our forum it is rotated 😞 How can I test if the EXIF PHP extension is loaded?

You would need to speak to your hosting company on this. We can tell you if its loaded, but not if its working, using the requirement checker here

This being the case, you would need to contact your hosting company on the issue. As you can see from here, the software rotates correctly when reading the EXIF data, so it can only really be the EXIF part of things
