Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted December 4, 2024Dec 4 Just updated to v4.7.19 this afternoon and I'm getting so many issues. The forum looks like there's no CSS. And in the admin panel, things like graphs are missing, the field to enter a "forum down" message isn't showing up, other admin areas don't have the usual upload buttons, etc. I really can't do much in the admin panel because I can't move between tabs, choose anything from a drop-down menu, etc. Because of the admin panel issues it doesn't appear to have to do with my theme (which only has a couple very minor customizations) Any ideas? Didn't expect this from such a relatively minor update. Screenshots attached. Edited December 4, 2024Dec 4 by Brad Olson
December 4, 2024Dec 4 Author Update: disregard. Clearing the system cache seems to have corrected the issues.
December 5, 2024Dec 5 Author Well this is strange as the issue has returned. I clear the caches and it works for a while but then I'll get the same thing and it takes another clear to fix it temporarily.
December 5, 2024Dec 5 Author I'm using S3 for everything under "Storage Settings" if that matters. Tried removing my theme and just having the default Invision theme with zero customizations and same thing happened, so it doesn't appear to be related to anything theme-related.
December 5, 2024Dec 5 You're not using S3 for Theme resources (JS/CSS), they're being served from your main site. Earlier when I visited your site I saw a Cloudflare blocked page, so it may be worth seeing if Cloudflare is periodically blocking requests to those files for some reason.
