GT6MK3 Posted December 2 Posted December 2 When I attempt to run the upgrade I get a message that "There are some problems with your database which need to be fixed before you can start the upgrade." I then get a very long list of commands to execute manually (855 lines!), or a "Fix This"button. If I hit the "Fix this"button, it processes for a while, then comes back with the same error. Any thouhts how I can get a fix?
GT6MK3 Posted December 2 Author Posted December 2 Thats 855 lines of code to run. Are there instructions anywhere on how to do that?
Daniel F Posted December 2 Posted December 2 I'm afraid, I don't think we have any instructions for this, but I'll tag @Marc he knows this stuff:D Usually you'll need to execute these queries direct via mysql on your server.
teraßyte Posted December 2 Posted December 2 Is your database using UTF8 or UTF8MB4 as the charset? It's possible you're still using UTF8 and with MySQL using the new UTF8MB3 alias those queries popped up. Daniel F 1

Before you begin an upgrade, go to the support area on your admin CP and it will show you that you can switch to utf8mb4 within the sql section there.
