... even though there are 10's, if not 100's in the album. Additionally, albums with no images show 100's.

What page specifically are you seeing this? Unfortunately, picking a category at random, I am seeing that the albums in it are counted:

@Daniel F am I correct to understand that it does not backfill existing Albums with correct image totals? All Albums created between 4.7.15 and .17 still show "0" images when they have hundreds within them. The image total still does not reflect accurately for those.

It seems like the fix wasn't backward compatible. We'll include an upgrade step for an upcoming release to rebuild the counters.
