Looks like the email notification for an anonymous post shows the name of the OP. In the event someone posts something genuinely deserving of anonymity and wouldn’t want their name disclosed.

Could contain: File, Webpage, Page, Text

Please ensure you are updated to the latest release, you are using default email templates, and that you have no 3rd party items enabled, then test this again. I am unable to replicate this on my end. I actually shows a anonymous guest posting when I test

@Marc Stridgen Is there a way to check if Email Templates where modified?

@Marc Stridgen Also, I've been trying to replicate this issue to received a mail notification that "someone has posted a topic" however, I could not, I only get a reply email notification.

Is there a way I can replicate or received a "has posted a topic"? We have a test topic that is visible only for us (devs) and I could not get any email notification that a member posted a topic, any idea?

You need to follow the forum its in, ensure your follow preferences are set to receive a notification for new content, then someone else needs to post a topic in that forum

@Marc Stridgen I was able to received new post topic email notification.

However I could not replicate the issue that one of our member sent ticket to us.

Will check next week, and will let you know guys, thank you all
