Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Missing Lincs Posted March 26 Posted March 26 My site, coastguards24-7.co.uk stopped working earlier today, I can't login to the admin CP, the forum just shows a blank page. Where do I start to fix it? I have access to the domain CP on my hosting platform. Firefox doesn't show any errors, edge shows this This page isn't working at the moment coastguards24-7.co.uk can't currently handle this request. HTTP ERROR 500
Jim M Posted March 26 Posted March 26 Would ask what was done prior to encountering this? You would want to contact your server administrator or hosting provider to pull that 500 Internal Server Error for you.

Can you check the server error logs and post here the most recent messages logged in there? Also, what was the latest change done to the forum prior to this happening?
Missing Lincs Posted March 26 Author Posted March 26 I can't see any errors under Apache for today, this is the last entry:- [Thu Mar 21 07:30:00.775293 2024] [access_compat:error] [pid 53001:tid 23407368332864] [client 79.124.59.74:58418] AH01797: client denied by server configuration: /home/coastguards/public_html/forum/uploads/javascript_global/index.php The site was fine this morning, I am not aware of any changes. I can see one change, php was updated from 8.1 to 8.2 globally. I changed back to 8.1 for this domain, now firefox shows:- Service Unavailable The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later. Additionally, a 503 Service Unavailable error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. ... and after a few minutes and a cache clear, I'm back up - panic over! Thanks for the assistance.
Marc Posted March 26 Posted March 26 We do not currently support 8.2, so changing that is indeed correct. Service unavailable is something you need to speak to your hosting company on
