I've taken a look at this, and I dont think this is related to your issue. By guess is that its just that far behind its not caught up yet. If you have access to PHPMyAdmin, could you please let me know how many rows there are in the core_view_updates table?

Yes, you need to set up a cron job for your tasks and ensure its running once a minute, But its going to take time to catch up there

This is something set up on your server. Its something your hosting company would need to assist with if you are unsure on how

You would read the instructions my colleague provided and if you have questions on how to setup cron on your server, you would contact your hosting provider:

You would want to compare the database table to see if it is shrinking. It wouldn’t catch up instantaneously as they are done by a background task taking out a chunk at a time.
