Overloading of logs can cause problems?

Hi,

My forum is functioning slowly; the only hint I have is the l support center dashboard that indicates a pumped-up folder log with a 139.03 MB log table.

Most of the logs are irrelevant anymore and fixed.  Can it be the root cause? Maybe if I empty the folder, think will start moving faster.

What logs would those be? If you click the Fix This button, what do you see?

I basically need to clear it all out in order to see what log returns. And I suspect the overload slows my forum.

Tries to do it with the prune tool, but it limited to keeping 7 days logs. is there any other way?

I would suggest solving the problem that's causing the logs to begin with. A 'large' table won't slow things down but a plugin causing something to get logged a lot could.

The table is automatically pruned, you don't need to manually clear it.

You should probably disable the 'MVN; (or similar name) plugin until it's fixed.

Thanks. in the latest days, i took care of all the issues. It's old logs. i know it deletes automatically, but i can't wait six days; my forum is slow, i and i need to figure out why.

I see now i have an error log of mail not sent secsefully; how can i remove them at the moment without waiting1 day? i have changed the configuration, not saving any more E mail logs because it could overload the DB. (Until the mail system will be fixed)

You cannot remove them within the platform without waiting for the period in which you have set to prune
