Posted March 29, 20232 yr I have a major issue with spam, as numerous spammers use the "About Me" section in profile fields to add spammy URLs. Is there a way to disable this feature for new users?
March 29, 20232 yr Solution This post was recognized by Marc! Adriano Faria was awarded the badge 'Helpful' and 5 points. Go to ACP -> Members -> Profiles Fields and disable it there. EDIT: I don’t think you can disable it; only remove it. You can disable it per group with a 3rd-party resource:
March 29, 20232 yr lol, I leave mine on I am instantly able to see they are spammers and then ban them no real user seems to ever fill out their profile to such completeness.

March 30, 20232 yr we could probably pass the about page thru GPT to get a rank if it is boilerplate sweatshop spammers its very consistent especially the URLs that resolve to India.
