I have a major issue with spam, as numerous spammers use the "About Me" section in profile fields to add spammy URLs. Is there a way to disable this feature for new users?

Go to ACP -> Members -> Profiles Fields and disable it there.

EDIT: I don’t think you can disable it; only remove it.

You can disable it per group with a 3rd-party resource:

we could probably pass the about page thru GPT to get a rank if it is boilerplate sweatshop spammers its very consistent especially the URLs that resolve to India.
