Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Clover13 Posted March 21, 2023 Posted March 21, 2023 I have a site that is niche specific but has some non-niche related forums (such as Politics). Is there a method for throttling posts in a given forum or set of forums OR perhaps earning/applying a credit system to post in a forum/set of forums? The issue is that these members do post quality site content at times, however they post an unbalanced number of lesser quality/unrelated topics. You may ask why even have the unrelated content, but it creates conversation and engagement that leads to posting site niche related content that is valuable. One marketplace add-on I found that could effectively throttle a set of forums is @DawPi's

Marc Posted March 21, 2023 Posted March 21, 2023 3rd Party would be the only way in which to do this, if thats the question you are asking. There isnt anything within the core platform to allow for this. Clover13 1

Ah that may indeed do it as well, thanks @Adriano Faria! @Adriano Faria, I think the one limitation there is it's at a whole group level vs a member level. So I'd have to add each member to their own group if I wanted to throttle the member level, right?
