abobader Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 @Ehrenas this without manual apply a space. Thanks. Â
Solution Ehren Posted March 10, 2023 Solution Posted March 10, 2023 Hi @abobader, That's actually working as intended. It behaves the same as other "mention" features such as those found in iMessage and Facebook. The lack of a space is also ideal for situations where you want to place grammar immediately after the username, such as the comma in the top line of this post, or an apostrophe. I hope that helps to clarify 🙂 Randy Calvert and abobader 2
abobader Posted March 10, 2023 Author Posted March 10, 2023 Thanks Ehren, Very good explanation indeed, I wonder if they are some CSS code to place a space will be great.
Ehren Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 Sure thing. Adding this to your custom.css file should add a space after the mention tag inside posts and the editor: :is(.ipsComposeArea,.ipsType_richText) [data-mentionid]{ margin-inline-end: .5em; } Â Afrodude, SeNioR- and abobader 2 1
abobader Posted March 10, 2023 Author Posted March 10, 2023 @Ehren Many thanks and well done indeed!

Ehren Posted March 11, 2023 Posted March 11, 2023 You’d be surprised at some questions I’ve seen in the past, so I just assumed this was legit too 😅 abobader, My Sharona and SeNioR- 3
