Michael R Posted November 2, 2022 Posted November 2, 2022 I have a user that is getting an error when he checks his Attachments. I logged in as him through the APC and did not see the error message. However, when I actually log out and log in using his U/P I get the Something Went Wrong error message. Error code: EX0 When I look at his attachments he is only using 7.76 MB of unlimited allowance. He is the only user that I know of having this issue.
Randy Calvert Posted November 2, 2022 Posted November 2, 2022 Look in the ACP support area. I believe it would log an error there that would contain a more useful set of details of what is going on.
Marc Posted November 2, 2022 Posted November 2, 2022 I have created a ticket on this for you, as we will need to take a closer look. Someone will be in contact as soon as possible Michael R 1
Michael R Posted November 2, 2022 Author Posted November 2, 2022 He also claims that the GIF and font menu items are not in the editor for him. But I could not replicate that logging in as him or logging in using his U/P. I could access all editor menu options. strange. I did look at error logs. But I have no idea what I am looking for.
Marc Posted November 2, 2022 Posted November 2, 2022 Please feel free to add that to the ticket, but its unlikely those are related
Michael R Posted November 2, 2022 Author Posted November 2, 2022 2 hours ago, Marc Stridgen said: Please feel free to add that to the ticket, but its unlikely those are related Will do. I suspect he is using an older browser or maybe even IE. It's hard to say. When I ask him what browser he is using, he didn't know what that meant. Also, there seems to be some confusion in my community as to what "desktop vs mobile" means. 😮
Marc Posted November 2, 2022 Posted November 2, 2022 If he is using IE that will indeed cause issues, as its no longer supported
Michael R Posted November 3, 2022 Author Posted November 3, 2022 I have just confirmed that he is using Microsoft Edge for a browser on a laptop. I cannot replicate the missing icons in the editor. He has already cleared his cache and history.
Marc Posted November 4, 2022 Posted November 4, 2022 Unfortunately if only he can replicate it on his own end, there isnt much we can do to really resolve that
Randy Calvert Posted November 4, 2022 Posted November 4, 2022 By the way, if it is happening for only that user... it is possible there is a firewall or other security device running on their computer or on their home network that is blocking this. You might suggest they try from a different computer or via a mobile device while at a location like Starbucks, etc.
Solution Michael R Posted November 5, 2022 Author Solution Posted November 5, 2022 So it seems he resized his browser (zoom) and that's why the menu items were missing. The editor was showing the options set for medium.
Jim M Posted November 5, 2022 Posted November 5, 2022 Glad to hear you were able to find out why it was happening. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance. SeNioR- 1
Michael R Posted November 8, 2022 Author Posted November 8, 2022 That does not explain why he gets the attachment error when he logs in but not when I log in AS him. But, when I actually log in as him using his u/p I DO get the error message.
Marc Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 It doesnt, however as mentioned in your ticket, that one is a bug that will be resolved in a future release
