Had a member tell me they could not get the sign up page to work but their friend could from outside of China.  A bit of digging shows that ReCaptcha (google based) may be blocked preventing anyone in China from getting past the sign-up page if it is used (including the invisible flavor which we use).  Thoughts?  @bfarber curious your thought on a fix in the core suite.

We can't control which services the Chinese government allows or disallows of course 🙂

From the links provided and looking at Google's developer docs, it looks like there is a noted workaround. Using www.recaptcha.net instead of www.google.com as the domain:

https://developers.google.com/recaptcha/docs/faq#can-i-use-recaptcha-globally

Taking a peek under the hood, it looks like IPS is hardcoding the domain.
