Hi, as you may have guessed from the the title i'm quite curious if you can pay files here  with a Maestro card. Technically Maestro is from Mastercard so it sould work, right? Well that what i thought too, but i'm having doubts, because of the Store saying over and over again that (what the Bank claims is) my cardnumber as invalid. (also lil backstory for those that are confused. In mainland Europe especially where i live, most people including me have a Account number on there card, not a card number) And more importantly, is it possible for me to pay with something else than a cardnumber? (because my card technically doesn't have a cardnumber)

Any ideas?

Why not ask Stripe?

rule number one, never bother Stripe

I thought that was going to say, "Never take the simple solution" ðŸ˜‚

I did some looking for you, and from what I can see Stripe doesn't say anywhere they accept these cards, looks like you're out of luck in this case.

Maestro is not a credit card and can’t be used as such. You could however activate European payment gateways (like Klarna, GiroPay, iDeal) with Stripe that would allow payments with the bank accounts a Maestro card belongs to.
