We haven't made any changes or updated any apps or plugins but suddenly out of the blue the front of the site whitescreens in firefox.

In chrome we get this error:

This page isn’t working

www.walkingfootball.com is currently unable to handle this request.

HTTP ERROR 500

Does anyone have any ideas why this could have happened?

looks to be working now.

Error 500 means internal server error. Check your error.log file from apache or nginx

Hi,

Yes we realised what was causing it.

We fixed this by disabling Enable template disk caching as we remembered the same thing happened on one of our other sites.

We have no idea why the above would cause the issue but have asked invision tech support.
