Custom Forum Table Headers/Fields/Variables/API pulls

Greetings.

I am interested in accomplishing something along the lines of what "Template System" can do.

Here is what I am trying to do:

I want to create custom columns/fields on the forum topic view. For example, when a post is a created, maybe a custom field for website URL or a link to an API that pulls specific JSON entries. These items are then shown in separate, sortable columns on the forum topic page where "last reply", "title", "start date", "replies" values are located.

Dedicated topics that pull API data that is updated in both the topic and forum view.

The json api data could be pulled using javascript, correct?

Is this difficult to do?

I am willing to pay for freelance work depending on the total cost.
