Our Picks Improvement v1.1.1 is released Saturday February 4 2018 into the IPS Marketplace.  This is a minor release that adds a new feature requested by the community.   

Hide Content Type Filter
In our last release 1.1.0, we added a new sidebar where users could filter by content types.  For example, users could filter to show Topics and Blog Entries.

In this release, we've added a setting to re-hide the sidebar, which can take up room on the page.  This setting appears in a new "Our Picks Settings" button on the ACP System > Site Promotion > Social Media Promotion page. Please see screenshots.

 

Navigate to ACP System > Site Promotion > Social Media Promotion.  There will be a new "Our Picks Settings" button.

 

New settings for Our Picks.

 

We will be evaluating other features as suggested by the community for further improvement.

i update the new version but i have the same problem with the record and now the button show content, each time i save, nothing change on my website

I think it must be easier deleting the bar from the ourpickslandingpage template but when I delete the line I can't move the grid, can you help me do it better?

 

2) There are two filters called the same name in spanish and I don't find where to translate or change... I also translated "All" to "Todo el contenido" from the template because I don't find where to translate, it's correct to do here or is a specific place in the translate section?

No, that won't work in his example. The things he's got called Articles are entries within Pages databases and the strings.

@Pedro Ibáñez You need to go to your Pages databases and edit them. You'll see a tab (Language) where you can set what the entries are called. You must have two databases in which you've set them to:

- article

- articles

- Article

- Articles

- an article

The relevant word for each database entry appears in that filter menu. If you change one to "record", "entry", "news article" or whatever, you'll see the change.

I'm hidding a bar wich appears within the plugin and my theme
