Reason : Creating static urls that will be referenced throughout IPB whose underlying links may periodically change.

Question : Is the best way to do this using =>  " Advanced Configuration -> Friendly URLs " ?

I absolutely recommend that addon. It's fantastic for working with URLs!

I find it interesting that the suggested solution is @Kevin Carwile's plugin. Since I'm creating those URLs in a group created with his Group Collaboration plugin.

Anyway, thanks for the suggestion. ~I'll take a look at it.
