I have a few members on my site who are showing in the admin CP as 'This member must be approved manually'.  Can anyone tell me why please?  I don't require administrator validation and they're not showing as spammers.

• Are there any other reasons for the system to ask for a manual validation?
• Is there any way of seeing why someone has been flagged this way?

IPS Spam Service probably? See if there's something on the its logs. 

Yeh I looked in the logs, but you're probably correct that they have been pruned by now. Thanks.

I see I have a number of users that need to be approved manually. The spam error log has a code of 1 for each of them. Any advice on why they got flagged then for manual approval?

Not without logging in to your AdminCP to check your settings.

All my pending validation seem to be Yahoo or Gmail address
