About This File

• Plugin which allows administrators to control the display of topic replies to guest viewers, showing a custom editable message to guests.
• Guests must register & sign-in to be able to view the replies.
• Can be set on all or specific forums.
• Topic exceptions can be made using a comma-separated listing of the topic IDs which will not be affected.
• Developed & tested on IPS 4.1.6.1, and actively being tested on 4.1.7 Beta

When selecting the forums to hide the guests it works well but there is a specific forum in which I want to hide the external links to the registered member and to the guest when I select the external links to member and guest, the selected forum is also selected in the list it seems that some update to the previous versions does not let it work what is to hide the videos to the guests example you tube

I have the spoiler off and the ad is not hidden yet

Also - you installed the app twice today; prior to that your last update/install was done in May.

Is the above issue something that appeared BEFORE you did the 2 installs today, or is one of those installs an update to the latest version?

Or has this issue suddently appeared for you, which then lead you to do the 2 installs?

Yes, that's correct, with the Sliders disabled in the Links settings, meaning it shouldn't hide them at all.
Also, in the Video settings, the "Hide embedded external videos" option is enabled
 Is youtube supposed to be hidden too? But it's showing up.

 

Also any mention of a user via @ is also hidden for some reason and a message is displayed from "Images", screenshots:

Thank you - just doing some quick testing here, using your settings. My initial thought is that as you have nothing set to be hidden on the "Links" tab then you really should just toggle off the "Links" option on the 'Main' tab.

I'll sort out the potential for someone doing that in the next release.

Will look into the Youtube and text stuff in more detail when I have time.

 

If you want I can give the admin login in private, take a look.

I don't need it.

An update will be out during the week sometime.
