Bendensin Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 Where is the setting to have members automatically follow their posts by default?
Ohio Guns Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 I'm not sure there is one. I've been looking for it myself.
Bendensin Posted October 20, 2016 Author Posted October 20, 2016 According to this: There is a means to do this in version 4.1.16, which I just installed. But for the life of me I can't find it.
TSP Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 Search for "Notification" in the Admin CP search.
Mark H Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 That's in ACP -> Members -> Notifications -> click the blue "Notification Settings" button. The popup has a number of choices, one of which is what you want, I believe.

Bendensin Posted November 10, 2016 Author Posted November 10, 2016 Also just learned something. I was finding that previous members were not being forced to follow topics and posts. Only new ones. When you change the notification settings, if you want it to apply to both new AND old members, click on the link within this sentence: Quote Adjusting these settings will affect new members only unless you adjust existing members.
