Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Adriano Faria Posted February 28, 2016 Author Posted February 28, 2016 I can take a look but I can assure you, and you can test yourself, that it's not related to my app. Send credentials via PM.
Wayne B Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Hi @Adriano Faria - I have found the conflicting plugin and removed it thank you. One slight issue - I have tested the plugin as a guest and it has locked me out as I would expect, the problem now is that when I sign in from the same IP I am still locked out as you can see in the screenshot - I am logged in and still can't access.
Adriano Faria Posted February 28, 2016 Author Posted February 28, 2016 I can't reproduce on mine. Leave a PM. I'll take a look tomorrow in the morning.

What's New in Version 1.0.1: IPS 4.1 compatibility

LiquidFractal Posted November 25, 2018 Posted November 25, 2018 @Adriano Faria thanks for another great application! 🙂 I could actually see this being used on a broader scale, not just for guests. Have you thought about tailoring it to different user groups? For example, guests get only X views of articles per day, but it would be great for some sites to allow, say, the Member group X views of VIP article database Y before being asked to upgrade their account to VIP, Donor, etc. etc. This has a lot of potential I think. Thanks again! Ramsesx and Adriano Faria 1 1

LiquidFractal Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 Is there any information on 4.4 compatibility? Thanks!

LiquidFractal Posted March 10, 2019 Posted March 10, 2019 I've tested this on a development site with 4.4.1 and everything seems to be working fine, but I'll leave it to you to see if there's a need for an updated version. 👍 Adriano Faria 1
Adriano Faria Posted March 10, 2019 Author Posted March 10, 2019 Yes, it is 4.4 compatible. Just tested. Sorry. LiquidFractal 1
Starship Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 @Adriano Faria Hey man! Is this only for guests? Would be cool for if we can select other user groups also. Cheers
Sonya* Posted June 23, 2020 Posted June 23, 2020 Hi Adriano, are bots restricted too? Can e.g. Google crawl the restricted pages limitless?
LiquidFractal Posted August 20, 2021 Posted August 20, 2021 Hey Adriano....I assume this is on your big to-do list for 4.6 compatibility? 😀
Adriano Faria Posted August 20, 2021 Author Posted August 20, 2021 Not exactly… 😂 But I can take a look.

This, for example, had 21 purchases. Last download more than one year ago so I really don’t feel much attracted to work on it unless someone requests. Still there’s another resource much better in the marketplace for this matter (from Dawpi). Btw, this one was a custom and was developed because Dawpi because it took long to update his resource and someone sponsored it.

I'm not sure if you've done this already, but it might help if you listed them as "unsupported" so that people like me can look at deleting them and looking for alternatives. I know you have a huge list of stuff to update with every cycle, but it saves people asking you all the time too! Come to think of it, I wonder if it wouldn't be a good idea to have a developer notification sent out to purchasers telling them that "App X will lose support after time X," like an EOL notice or something. Lets people plan for the future of their site. Adriano Faria 1
