how can i install beta 8 ver ??

my forum ver now  IP.Board 3.4.6

Do not upgrade live 3.x.x forums to Beta versions!

1. Upload Beta 8 files to folder, where placed backup of your live site

2. Run website.com/admin/upgrade in your browser

3. Follow instructions

If you're having to ask about this, I would think twice about using the beta.

Like IPSRussia said, but i would remove (AND BACKUP EVERYTHING) old 3.x-files except /public /uploads /screenshots /downloads before uploading IPS 4-files.

Just post here, if you run in errors...

 

Navigate to the client section of invision power found -> here

Select Purchases and click on the license you intend to upgrade.

Click on Download IPS Community Suite

Select the option for 4.0.0 Beta 8

Upload the contents of the files to your webserver

Navigate to http://yourdomain.com/admin/upgrade

Follow the instructions

Done!

 

Be sure to make a copy of the database and your existing file structure just in case!
