Labonte18 Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 File Name: Total Post Count doesn't decrease upon deletionFile Submitter: Labonte18File Submitted: 16 Mar 2006File Category: Modifications This mod will pull the information for "Our members have made a total of X posts" in the board statistics from the posts column in forums_members rather than actually counting the DB. When you delete a post from IPB 2.1.x, the total post count in board statistics decreases appropriately, however, the USER post count does not decrease. (User's Total Posts from their profile/stats). This mod changes it so that rather than adding the total posts and total topics to come up with a total post number, it adds the numbers from all memberss post columns in forums_members, which will give you a number that should be total posts since the board started, including deleted posts/topics. Running ACP->Tools and Settings->Recount and Rebuild->Rebuild User Post Count will completely negate the function of this mod, as it will reset the posts field in forums_members based on current posts. So don't do it.Click here to download this file
