With this task u could delete old topics in your forums, just set up a time from the last post choose protected forums that topics in there wont get delete even if they are old.

Upload the settings.xml from ACP -> TOOLS & SETTINGS -> Import an XML settings file.
Upload the sources/tasks/delold.php To ROOT_PATH/sources/tasks/
