    How to control which products are purchased

    Hello, Is there a way to how to control which products are purchased from outside invision software? I have a WordPress website where all the products are listed but they are purchased using invision community to sell and them and provide access to the services and forum channels. However, is there a way to pass along any variable in the wordpress URL to control when a product has been purchased and from which URL? Also, is it possible to purchase a product from outside invision and assign a user group in invision? Thanks

    Permissions for new groups

    Hi team, I'm creating new member groups for new subscriptions and I'm setting permissions for all my forums and subforums. I've more than 300. And I've a problem, I only can set permissions in a general way for ALL forums, but not for subforums or catgories as groups. So I need to set permissions one by one. Did we have another way to set permissions more efficently? Now I need to select about 6.000 field check Thanks for your help.

    Featured blogs are shown at the top of the blog homepage, how many featured blog posts will it show? e.g. is it the last 10 featured ones for example. Or does it scroll through them indefinitely so if had 100 featured posts it would randomly scroll between 100 of them? Many thanks in advance

I'll give it a try 😜 When I switch the editor to "Source" mode to enter HTML code, if I use an HTML5 <video> tag, the system automatically adds a "src" argument (to this tag). In fact, the system uses the src argument of the first <source> tag it finds inside the <video> tag.     Can I stop new registrations but leave forum accessible to read?

    Hi. I can't find the answer to this. I want to stop new people from registering but ideally allow people who are already members to continue as normal. I also want guests to still be able to view all the forums. Just don't want any more new topics. Is this possible please?

    EXIF data Gallery Images

    When Photos are updated Im assuming they resize to setup specs etc. EXIF data is pulled and written to the database. If you open the image in gallery and click on it a few times it opens in a browser and image can be saved to local computer. (Or any other way to pull the image off the site) those images have all the EXIF data stripped from them. Is this a bug? or is there anyway that Invision can write the full EXIF back to the new image it creates on upload and save? Thanks

    Hello, I am currently using SendGrid, however, I only send out automated emails via my IPS site, and I am looking at ways to cost-save. I have seen an alternative option, which has Zapier integration but they also offer an API service. I'm curious, would zapier integrate their service to my community, or should I look for a developer to connect their API?

    Proton Identifies Spacer.png As A Tracker

    Hi Guys, I just noticed that Proton Mail identifies spacer.png as a tracker in the email sent from my site. Here's the message I get in my mail client. Question: Is spacer.png really a tracker, and if so how can I stop it from being used in my community? Or, is this a misidentification?

    Outgoing email settings

    I'm seeing these in Gmail on the received emails for moderators (not sure about members) - from: SiteName <noreply@invisioncloudcommunity.com> signed-by: invisioncloudcommunity.com Body: "User has posted a post in a topic requiring approval"... Why is it not using the "Outgoing Email Address" specified in Email Settings? Where do I configure them to show my email address and domain? Account on IC cloud.

    Increase quality/resolution of Database record image?

    I recently setup a new Database to use on a Page. For the Homepage template, I'm using Category 2 Column Image Feature The images on of the listings are extremely grainy / low quality. How do I adjust this? I see the option to increase Thumbnail dimension in the Database Options tab - but I don't want them larger, just less grainy.

    Hi everyone, I have a problem with the blog. if I create a new article but put it as unpublished () I no longer see it and I don't know how to find it again other than activating it from the database. Did I make a mistake in some blog settings or permissions?

    Hi, I migrated IPB from 4.2.5 to latest 4.7.14 and I try to import my ranks configuration to my new IPB. On 4.2, ranks are configured by number of content items (posts, comments) but on the last version it's by number of point. There is a tip to switch on "by number content" metric instead of "by number of point" to approve rank to a member ? For the moment, all of my members are newbies rank and lost their rank. Thank you.

    How do I make member profiles private to signed-in members only?

    Looking for the option to make member profiles viewable to only signed-in members of the community. I know I'm just missing it, but where is it? Thanks! Never mind! I found it with a bit more looking. ACP -> System -> (Site Features) Applications -> System -> Profiles. Then set the permissions by group.

I saw an old topic that Invision was discussing internally and was wondering about any updates. I know we can use the Google one, but it is basically a full-screen of Google Terms and Google Logos and not exactly what most want to see jumping onto a website.
