Hi All, Is it possible to insert a Forum category into a cms Page? That way I can have a clean url without the extended 'forums' url and have page widgets around it. -
Hi @Matt & @Marc Is there any chance my suggestion could be brought forward in an upcoming release please? The Third party dev who created the solution we use for IPS4 is unable to convert their addon to IC5.

I'd appreciate if the option to turn it on whas left in the AdminCP so communiuty owners could decide to use it or not.

Please bring in a similar solution to XenForo - I have a bookmark list I need to troll through just to see if there is new app or updates out.... Make it clear all third party addons/themes are not supported by IPS and clear messaging they must seek that support with the third party dev. All payments and downloads to be handled on the third party devs website.

Have updated to 5.0.3 - can confirm the Images Widget is back to its former glory. Thank you all My future dream is being able to upload a .mp4 or other type of video as the background..... Not a linked youtube video, self hosted video file.

Transparent images look terrible against contrasting background colours and background images. Image below clearly shows the styling issue with both single and multi image widgets: Request: provide the option under Widget Advanced settings to apply or not the effects as shown in the screen snip so IC5 customers can choose who they wish to present the Image Widget on their website. I'd like to add that the widget is still bugged for multiple images. The bottom widget has Three images uploaded to it - all Three show the grey background to each image.

It was good to read in the 5.0.2 changelog the builder/advanced tab was back for the Images Widget. Unfortunately, the current bug of the funky background is still there: I do not see an option to remove the background of the foreground image to allow for a background image to show through.

So for every widget with a background image and wanting a logo/transparent image on top, I'm going to have to do manual steps to achieve what I could do simply on the current IPS4 website? That is a backwards step for your customers. I choose a couple of years back to move to IPS as your page building feature and easy styling options of widgets made whipping up content pages simple for those who aren't code savvy. The Advanced options were there in the 5.0.0 release, please add it back. And please give the option to turn on/off the gradient overlay and the acid trip logo repeating background affect.

I clipped both the WYSIWYG and standard Text widget and wrote a comment to both widgets limitations. Who gives feedback they want less styling options? That cannot be for real?

Please explain how that is possible? WYSIWYG Editor does not allow background colour/images Text Widget does not have the ability to upload a foreground image The Images Widget in IPS4 was perfect, why remove the advanced options?

Hi All, 5.0.1 update has caused the advanced options for the Image widget to disappear: Can you please also include an option to remove the gradient overlay and background repeat/reflection of the image? IPS4 allowed us to create widgets with background images and a logo placed on top so the widget would transform as the screen size changed. Thanks, Mad

After upgrading from 5.0.0 to 5.0.1 -> website and ACP will not load at all. Error_log on ftp shows this: [11-Feb-2025 12:38:18 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Declaration of IPS\discord\extensions\core\LoginHandler\Discord::userLink(string $identifier, string $username): ?IPS\Http\Url must be compatible with IPS\Login\Handler::userLink(string $identifier, ?string $username): ?IPS\Http\Url in /home/bigdgami/public_html/ipbtest/applications/discord/extensions/core/LoginHandler/Discord.php on line 134 How do I recover from this? Is this going to happen on every 5.x.x update?

I reported this bug over a month ago - it makes the image widgets completely useless presently... Also have this issue with the image widget and the text widget where the background colour overlay cannot be removed....
