It fixed it for our site.
  4. Yes, exactly what happened to us. It was working fine in v4. We upgraded to v5 without changing any settings, or PHP versions and photos started posting upsidedown.. We were on PHP 8.2 when we upgraded to v5. We tried going back to 8.1 and it worked for us. We also have 8.3 and 8.4 installed on the server, but haven't tried either of them yet.
  5. We were having a similar issue after upgrading to v5 using PHP 8.2. We rolled back to 8.1 and it resolved our issue.
  6. We have 5.0.2 online at the moment, and it is working with 8.1. We will do some testing on 8.4, although when I installed 5.0.0 I thought I tried 8.4 but it broke the forum. Thanks!
  7. The issue seems to be gone when we roll back to PHP 8.1 8.2 has the image flip bug... We do now have the Update Recommendation under PHP though. We don't have 8.3 or 8.4 installed yet, but that could easily done. Should we test with either of those yet?
  8. I just posted the pictures and they look correct (not zip), the same pictures do not on our forum (flipped the F up!). I have disabled the EXIF plugin previously and it made no difference, they would post upside down. It looks like only iOS images as well, I can open a picture from my phone in paint, save it as .png and it looks just fine. Not sure how this issue is going to get fixed. Also is there any way to see what EXIF or IPS is seeing for picture data? Any kind of log??
  9. Marc, I'm not sure what the test area is? Here is a picture downloaded from a post and it is posting upside down.

  12. Updating the iOS version solved the problem for our member. Thanks guys for helping solve the problem.
  13. I have a member having a similar issue. https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/topic/481608-editor-not-showing-v5/
  14. He didn't have any issues with our site until we upgraded to v5 and the new editor. I understand that it is an old phone. Any help would be appreciated as he has supported a number of our different Invision forums for over 20 years now.

  16. It's an iPhone 11 running IOS 15.6.1
  17. Here’s the response from the trouble ticket. Checked the info.php page as well as CLI. There were a couple small modifications from default on the theme. I created a brand new theme, loaded that, problem still occurs. I have a paid Illuminate theme that we ran successfully on v4. That theme flips upside down as well. Sorry, I’m not trying to start a finger pointing battle, just going through all the steps to sort out the issue. :/ Thanks.
  18. EXIF was enabled with the 8.1 load, I disabled it and same symptom. I also loaded one of the “All PHP” profiles in WHM which had EXIF included, still showing vertical photos upside down. Is any kind of restart required to pick up new PHP extensions that are installed?

  20. We just recently upgraded to v5. One of our members can only post by uploading attachments because there's no editor showing on his screen. All that I have been able to get for information so far is that he is using Safari. Anyone else experience this after upgrading to v5?
