Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted Tuesday at 12:31 PM5 days For the past few weeks, I've noticed that occasionally, some of the images on my site do not load when I first load a page. It could be an image from the GUI as in the screenshot below (this just occurred now), or it could be an image or a few images that a member has posted inside a post. Then I reload the page, and the images are displayed as expected.

Friday at 04:58 PM2 days Community Expert Just happened again, on my homepage, the image from one of my articles didn't load. Again in the Console I sawFailed to load resource: net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_RESPONSE.NotSameOriginThe aforementioned error is a browser-related issue. It usually occurs when a web page’s response is blocked by certain conditions or rules, such as server restrictions, or misconfigurations that prevent resources like scripts, images, or stylesheets from loading. It can also be caused by ad blockers or security add-ons, that may interfere with requests and block responses from loading. For example, if you’re using a third-party script, like Google Analytics or extensions like AdBlock, can block requests to known tracking or ad-serving domains. Do you have such addons installed? If you do, try to disable them and see if that would help.A couple of other things to check would be the response headers for any issues with the allowed requests from your domain at the Network tab in the Developer Tools and the Firewall rules as that, or the proxy server settings can block certain web requests, causing the ERR_BLOCKED_BY_RESPONSE error.

My site is on the Invision Cloud.
