I have a list of flags for country - any reason there is a statement that changing the order affects existing values?

I can see these being stored in core_pfields_content with the name rather than the index so order should not be impacted? Second follow up question, can we have the ability to add key, value for these (essentially internal id and display id) - this is useful if you want to link this to for example a flag image.

Moving around the content of the selection would change the internal marker of that value and potentially cause the value be out of sorts of the marker. Changing this is on our list of things to-do but we don't really have an ETA around that as it is a large undertaking.

There currently is no means of having your own key/value pair. You can certainly suggest this in our Feedback forum.

I value would be changed, yes. If its not for what you are looking at there, Im not sure why. However I am sure in saying you should not rely on that value, as mentioned in the note there.

When I have done this previously myself, I have used the name I've added, rather than the value
