Ok not sure how to describe the problem as it is not myself bt some of my users are having the issue logging in as explained to me

When logging in on the log in screen it gives you the usual screen but when typing in username and password the keyboard disappears along with the previous text already typed, i tried this on my google chrome on my phone and i had the same issue but seems fine on desktop well for me anyway seems to be an ipad mobile issue

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

What version of Ipb are you using and what was the latest change done to the forum prior to this happening? Can you also post the link to your forum?

version 5.03 just the upgrade nothing else was changed or added apart from the template update

It seems to be a mobile log in issue as works fine on desktop possible issue with laptops too

In Ipb 5 the option to use the usernames to login was removed. Users can enter only their email addresses. I mentioning this because of this part in your original message:

think we have found the problem it is the chatbox conflicting we are currently checking it make sure it works correctly thank you for the reply

What template was updated?

my apologies people do use emails to log in and we use the Illuminate theme from ipfocus

it only seems to be doing this to certain members not all members

Both of the errors you posted have been fixed. The first one is fixed in 5.0.4, the second one is ACP only and is fixed for 5.0.5.

Neither of those would be related to the login issue you're describing.

fixed the problem turned default theme back on and turned new theme back on and all touch wood is working fine think it maybe had an issue on changeover 

regarding the log in issue we think it is a third party app causing this which we are working on thank you

If specific users are having login issues, try having them clear their cache/cookies. That’s caught a few folks. :)

Thank you i have requested that last time it was a chat room script but nothing has changed now and it has started to happen again I'm at a loss

solved it was the chatroom script i made a change and it stopped the problem thanks for the help
