Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted March 9Mar 9 I'm a bit confused. While I was able to easily sign up and obtain a API Key, it said it was BETA. I am now getting emails from them reminding me of getting a 'non-rate limited production key'.Do we have to PAY for use of Giphy on our forum? If we don't have to pay, do we just need to fill this out?It says, "please make sure that your app includes 'Powered by GIPHY' attribution marks", where do you guys add this? Thanks to anyone that replies. March 10Mar 10 Community Expert It "should" be free, but I read some very active sites got an email about paying for using the API. I'm not really sure about the specifics, though. 🤷♂️ It says, "please make sure that your app includes 'Powered by GIPHY' attribution marks", where do you guys add this?Version 4 includes that text in the Gyphy popup in the editor, but I don't see it in v5. Looks like they removed it by mistake.===Posted a bug report about it:

Has anyone successfully received an API key (non beta) following the steps required, in V5?
March 10Mar 10 Community Expert I appreciate the reply and info, as well as letting me know about the bug report. Has anyone successfully received an API key (non beta) following the steps required, in V5?I've not tried personally, but have flagged up the bug above, as I can see how that may stop you from being able to get a key from the screenshots
