Morning,

My users and I are encountering a few issues since I have upgraded to v5.

iPad browsing and uploading images.

Below is an image of what all my users see on an iPad, they are unable to uploaded images. On desktop and mobile this works.

Posting on iPad

Other users have reported that they are no longer able to post using their iPad, they get a continuous blue circle.

Please disable all 3rd party applications and see if these are still happening.

In terms of the ipad issue, check the version of iOS being used. I suspect its very likely outdated

iPad is running on latest update, iPadOS 18.3.1.

Is that the case for both of those issues? I ask as the posting one is known to be an issue on outdated ones. The upload issue I havent seen before, so need to ensure which issue on which versions

For the attachment upload issue it is iPadOS 18.3.1.

For the posting issue there iOS version is up to date iPadOS 15.8.3

It looks like the attachment issue has been fixed in 5.03.

I'm awaiting an update regarding the older iPad, are there plans to fix that issue?

Shouldn’t the iPad running iPadOS 15.8.3 be updated to iPadOS 18.3.1? Or have I missed something?

The iPad Air in question is a 4th gen one, so its software is limited to iOS 15. The issue was happening due to some modern JS which tiptap was using, that Safari didn’t understand.

We’ve fixed the issue and it’ll be patched in the next update 🤝 Thanks for letting us know!
