Hoping for some help with this one, I'm runnning v4.7.20 and PHP Version 8.1.29.

I've cleared the cache and uploaded the files for v5.0.2, ACP recognised the uploaded files and shows that files are modified.

However when I go to /upgrade it shows there are no upgrades available.

According to the install guidelines for manual upgrade I just have to upload the files and then run the upgrade link.

Is there anything else I need to do?

This doesn't seem right. If you uploaded the v5 files on top of v4, you shouldn't even be able to login to the ACP at all. You wouldn't be able to get to that screen to show "modified files".

I've reuploaded the zip and uncompressed again and all now seems fine. I think there must have been an issue when the contents uncompressed.
