I'm confused. The above should show up before every pinned topic. Is that what you want?

It’s a sort of Pinned Topics Separator.

Yes, I understand that, but there's nothing (at least that I can see) preventing it from showing up before every pinned topic.

Thanks @Esther E. , only after the last pinned item do I check the bool and display the markup. but this is somewhat a detour 🙂

I haven’t seen anything on UI extensions and does it make more sense to have a $row object passed into these hooks?

any thoughts @Esther E. or anyone else on the Invision staff.

You mentioned UI extensions, any more details? + hooks currently take a $rows object which seems unusual. How can we use the actual $row data in the hook? I can do the work, just need some overarching understanding of the moving parts.

You may be best posting a separate topic within our developer connection forum for this. Im not able to answer myself, or I would. But you may gain more traction in that area :)

You can read about UI Extensions here, here, and here. In general, I'm thinking of creating a UI Extension on IPS\forums\Topic and then using a combination of css() and dataAttributes() to mark the rows you need.
