The page you requested does not exist And yes, I installed the forum in the "invision" folder since it includes both the forum and the gallery. In that case it looks like it's disabled, like @Terabyte said in one of his previous posts. 18 hours ago, teraßyte said: Maybe you have the Moderator CP module disabled inside the System (core) application? That's the only thing I can think of that would hide the link despite your permissions being set correctly:
Carole Asselin Posted Saturday at 07:38 PM Author Posted Saturday at 07:38 PM The question remains for me, where is it disabled and where do I enable it? I could not find it.
Solution Randy Calvert Posted Saturday at 07:52 PM Solution Posted Saturday at 07:52 PM 10 minutes ago, Carole Asselin said: The question remains for me, where is it disabled and where do I enable it? I could not find it. ACP > System > Site Features > Applications You can also get to it via: YOURDOMAIN.COM/admin/?app=core&module=applications&controller=applications Expand the "System" section. Under it will be a list of modules. I'm guessing for you "Moderator CP" will show as "Disabled". Just click the "Disabled" icon to switch it back to "Enabled".
Carole Asselin Posted Saturday at 08:09 PM Author Posted Saturday at 08:09 PM Thank you. That was clear enough for me to enable the ModeratorCP. Interestingly, the approval queue is empty. I don't mind if there is nothing there but I am curious how it could have happened.
Randy Calvert Posted Saturday at 08:20 PM Posted Saturday at 08:20 PM You might try looking in the moderator logs in the ACP to see if you can search for the topic or the recent actions that have occured at the moderator level.
Carole Asselin Posted Saturday at 08:57 PM Author Posted Saturday at 08:57 PM Thanks. It looks like the poster might have deleted the post. All fixed! Meddysong 1
Randy Calvert Posted Saturday at 10:41 PM Posted Saturday at 10:41 PM I'm glad you got to the bottom of it.
Marc Posted Monday at 09:43 AM Posted Monday at 09:43 AM Just to clarify some confusion here for others. Administrator - Someone who has the ability to administer the site on the admin CP side Moderator - Someone who has the ability to moderator the site on the front end People are very aware you can be a moderator and not be an administrator. However the confusion is where people believe you are automatically a moderator if you are an administrator. That is not the case. They are 2 sets of permissions. If you needed to have ALL permissions everywhere, your group (or an individual) would have an entry in both Staff>Administrators and in Staff>Moderators
