Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted January 6Jan 6 Hi, I would like my domain to go from https://thecrimsonmarket.com/hub/ to https://www.thecrimsonmarket.com/hub/ for my license. I already have an installation and reinstalling everything would be a nightmare at this point, can I please get a hand? Thanks!
January 6Jan 6 Community Expert Changing the license we can do for you, no problem at all. For the URL, you change this in your conf_global.php file. If you let us know once you have done that, we can sort the license this end for you 🙂
January 7Jan 7 Author Hi @Marc, Thanks for your reply. It looks like only a conf_global.dist.php file exists and it's empty, so it's not clear to me what I am supposed to add there. Could you let me know?
January 7Jan 7 Hi @Maxim Rioumine, You should have both files in your root folder; conf_global.dist.php (this one will be empty) and conf_global.php. If you still cannot find the conf_global.php file, create it with that exact heading and leave it empty. Try running the installer again and it should populate itself.
January 7Jan 7 Community Expert conf_global.php is what you should be changing, not conf_global.dist.php. If you only have the latter, then you havent copied all your files from its prior location
January 7Jan 7 Author Thanks guys, looks like the license won't even need to be changed, works with the conf_global update.
January 7Jan 7 Author Actually we noticed that all of our icons and images became empty boxes after this, any idea what may have caused that? https://www.thecrimsonmarket.com/hub/
January 7Jan 7 Community Expert If you go to the support section of your admin CP and select "Clear cache" on the right, it should resolve that issue for you.
