I am correct in saying that if you have a Gravatar account with a photo uploaded that the board will show that same photo as default if no other photo has been uploaded to their IP profile?

The default avatars (profile photos) will be like you see on here, a coloured background with a letter on it. We do not support Gravatar.

aw ok, i thought it would support it out of the box, unless there is an add on for the board somewhere.

I don't recall seeing an addon for it, but it wouldn't be difficult for a developer to implement in v4. We removed Gravatar support about 6 years ago, it wasn't used by that many customers and created privacy concerns since it requires sharing PII (email addresses) with a third party.

Hi @Milly Mikkelsen,

If you want to give your community that extra customised look, you could always upload your own stock image to be displayed as the default profile photo/avatar. Just go to your AdminCP -> Members -> Member Settings -> Profiles -> Default Profile Photos and toggle 'Use the theme's default profile photo'.
